The Anti-Overwhelm List For Newbie Virtual Professionals

To All Newbie Virtual Professionals, this post is for YOU.

Last weekend, Ann Penaredondo and I travelled to Tagaytay with our newfound friends:  Bec, Noreen, Espie, Cristine, Cyzel, Yuan, Riann and Janice

Our newfound friends are all like you:  They also want to work from home and become virtual professionals

They attended the Date With Freedom event by Jomar Hilario.

They want to start with their assignment but don’t know how.

Bec reached out to Ann and set the date for this mini workshop in Tagaytay 🙂

What did we do?

With these as backdrops…

THE ANTI-OVERWHELM LIST For Newbie Virtual Professionals

We asked some of the ladies to start and write their 100 Whys…

Reann came up with her 50 reasons why she wanted to become a virtual professional, and that includes her twins 🙂

Ann and I asked the other ladies to start with their first slide!

As they say, the journey starts with 1 slide 🙂

Time to fire up their laptops and type the title slide 🙂

In a group, you feel a sense of strength.  According to the ladies, they feel alone when doing their assignments at home, do you feel the same way?

One laptop was a bit slow (si laptop talaga!) but done with the first slide!  Yeyyy!  Way to go, Reann and Cristine!

Espie is starting with her next tutorial, wohooo!  Noreen is looking at her list of 100 Whys.  Hopefully next year, you’ll have more time hugging your babies 🙂

After doing their first slides, they are moving on to the next slides 🙂  At this point, Ann and I are rejoicing!  Why?  Our goal:   The ladies will go back to their homes with 1 tutorial slide.

They asked us:  How do we start?

Our answer:  You start with 1 slide 🙂

These are the precious moments for Ann and me, seeing the ladies smiling doing their next slides and helping each other …

A shout out to Bec who organized the trip and who asked the pressing questions 🙂  I super appreciate your questions, Bec!

Here’s Teacher Ann making sure that our students are on track… So happy that I did this with you, Ann!

I was once a stalker of her blog, https://annexceptionalva.wordpress.com/ , and now I’m here side by side with Ann helping newbie VPs!  Such a blessing to do this.
